Excellent grits, there is no substitute!!
The grind is always consistent and when cooked they offer up a wonderful sweet corn flavor and delicate creaminess. I usually just cut them with a little sea salt and high quality butter. Adding your favorite type of cheese makes them even more delicious. I've been using Lakeside products for years and I recently ran out at the same time their website was down. We were planning to have guest over for a southern themed brunch and Lakeside grits were on the menu. So I called, but they do not take orders over the phone. Anxious moments ensued, as I waited several days wondering when the site would be up again. Sure we have grits at local markets here and in a pinch I could substitute polenta, but there really is no substitute for Lakeside Yellow corn grits. Hands down they are the best on the market.

The Best Grits Money Can Buy!!!!
Consistently the best grits you can purchase. No matter how you cook them and what you like on them, you will never be disappointed. We also love their Hushpuppy mix!

Shrimp and grits
Best grits I have found in a long time .Perfect grind(courseness). Creamy and great taste. Not bleached white grits can't find in Florida where I live south Florida. Picked them up in La Grange Ga.. had my son send more to me as I write. Will order now that I know where to order from.

Very good
It's hard to find grits in Minnesota but yellow grits are just not available in any stores. We were happy to find Lakeside yellow grits online. They cook up very well, smooth and creamy with no lumps.

Just the best there is.
When it comes to grits, the available products in the stores leave a lot to be desired. We used to get Jim Dandy grits from friends in Alabama, but they sold out to Martha White and are no longer available. We tried Lakeside yellow grits on the recomendation of a friend. I can honestly say that they are the very best I have ever had.

Exactly like the "Harina" we ate in Cuba.
Brings a taste of home. In addition to eating it as per the printed recipe, we like it with condensed milk, raisins, brown sugar, crab meat, pork meat, shrimp, chicken, fish of any type, aguacate (guacamole), really it is a full delicious meal. If it is eaten everyday, as a main course, it will provide sufficient daily maintenance. An exceptional meal. In Cuba, everybody ate it. This product is top quality. It is called yellow grits, but it really is Harina. AND IT ONLY TAKES 5 MINUTES TO BE READY! It was very hard, almost impossible to find it on line. I'm very happy that now I can get it on line.
