Lakeside Yellow Grits (28oz)

We are originally from Florida and North Carolina. Two years ago we moved to Arizona. We could find any subsitute for Lakeside grits. We will continue to order as long as they are available. Thanks for your online service.

I first found these grits in Publix in Orlando, FL. When I got home to IL there were no grits like those to be found.I'm so happy I was able to have them shipped. I served Shrimp and Grits to my family and even the vegetarians enjoyed them. Most of them had never had anything like them. We intend to keep them on the shelf. I just wish I could find them at the local stores in IL.

These grits have the wonderful flavor of a superb yellow dent corn, rather than the muddier taste of a starchy flint corn. You can taste the difference immediately.

I've been drizzling Lakeside Yellow Grits into boiling water for many years!! I have tried other products but none have been as fine as Lakeside's. Many of my distributed family rely on me to do what my daughter called "The best breakfast in the whole world" for them when they visit here. They also believe that my home is the supply point for yellow grits. I'll stick with Lakeside!!

Yellow grits are not bleached like the white ones. These grits are the best!

I am from SC but we are stationed in North Dakota and I can't find yellow grits here they really just started carrying grits here at all. So this is my lifeline and my family's favorite.

I had the good fortune to be stationed in Alabama many years ago where I learned to love grits. But living in New England was a problem. No restaurants had them and I usually didn't have the time to cook them at home. An old friend mentioned yellow grits, I ordered a bag online and the rest is history. Is grits groceries? You bet! These are the BEST!
